  1. I’m the author of Violet and so obviously happy about this outcome. Thanks for your kind and thoughtful review of it. Even more, thanks for all your work on Inform 7 and on the various extensions of yours that I used in the game. Even more-more, thanks for all your writing on game design, especially as it was a post of yours on problematizing the PC/narrator relationship that gave me the idea for the narrator voice in my game. Violet was a completely absorbing and fun project to work on, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it at all without the work you’ve done.

  2. Congrats to Jeremy! Violet got far and away my highest score. I was totally engrossed and almost never felt like I was fighting with the parser or facing an arbitrary puzzle. Well done.
